Dalam Rangka Peningkatan mutu dan Kualitas Pendidikan di SMK Negeri 7 Balikpapan, Pada Hari Selasa 3 September 2024 Kepala SMK Negeri 7 Balikpapan Bersama Team Management Sekolah yang terdiri dari Wakil Kepala Bidang Kurikulum dan Koordinator Kehumasan Melakukan Kunjungan kerja di IDUKA dan Perguruan Tinggi. Kunjungan Kerja Ini Bertujuan untuk melakukan Penjajakan Kerja Sama Antara Dunia Pendidikan dalam hal ini SMK Negeri 7 Balikpapan Sebagai sekolah Vokasi dengan Dunia industri dan Perguruan Tinggi. Diharapkan sebagai tindak lanjut setelah kegiatan kunjungan Antara Sekolah dengan Pihak yang dikunjungi bisa menjalin Kerjasama sehingga Kurikulum yang ada disekolah selaras dengan Kebutuhan Dunia Kerja Serta Sesuai Dengan perguruan tinggi. Sebagai Salah satu Perusahaan yang dikunjungi yaitu PT. Arkananta Apta Pratista Memberikan apresiasi yang baik Kepada Sekolah Karena berinisiatif untuk mengunjungi dunia Perusahaan, dan Perusahaan tersebut sudah beberapa Kali menerima Kunjungan dari beberapa sekolah serta menjalin Kerjasama dengan Dunia Pendidikan baik di sekolah maupun perguruan Tinggi. Harapannya Perusahaan dan sekolah bisa terus bersinergi dalam meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan dan menciptkan tenaga terampil yang dicetak dari Lulusan SMK.
